I was speaking a prayer of sorts, saying your name and my total belief in/about your abundant future. In that moment, your photo popped up with clear Heather eyes. And this link. Count that as another miracle. I love you.
Heather - thanks for writing and being vulnerable. You are a wonderful writer and a wonderful person. Thinking of you as you head back to the world. It can be a scary place.
Gasping at seeing you see yourself like this. The most beautiful thing, always. You loving yourself through this makes ME love ME as I go through whatever *this* (waves hands wildly in the air at everything and nothing) is that I am going through. We are all so different and we are all so the same. May we all find the comfort and company in those truths. Sending you so much love for the journey ahead and for no reason at all, the latter being the more important. ❤️❤️❤️
Well hello there. I think Sober Camp sounds like a fabulous idea…for everyone!
I am helping facilitate a Recovery Dharma group and it’s a great resource too. Lots of people combine it with other recovery groups. It’s based on Buddhist principles, which IMO don’t conflict with Christianity at all. I enjoy the meditation aspect so much that I just got certified as a mindfulness teacher.
I think often of the title Extraordinary Ordinary. It’s basically all I am trying to achieve.
Oh I love hearing from you and love the recovery group suggestion. I’ve heard good things about Dharma. It’s good for people to know all their options. Everyone has their own path. ❤️
It's you! There you are. <3

Hey, new Heather. I love this one, too...and every Heather there's been before this, and the ones to come.
Same to you, my soul friend.
You are such a strong woman!
And so are you, Pam!
I am so proud of you for turning to self care and support. You are enough and you will come out the other side.
